Children & Youth
Kids’ Club: Kids’ Club offers opportunities for children under Youth Group age to learn, grow and play together through regular events and projects.
Youth Group: Youth in grades 6-12 are invited to join us for activities that build community, serve others, grow faith, and make friends. Our youth group meets for special activities each month. Check out our events calendar here to learn more. We go snow tubing. We take a trip to Lutherock for summer camp each summer. We go Christmas caroling to our shut-ins. We prepare meals for events at church. We have done all sorts of fun activities that help nurture faith for youth during these key developmental years.
Confirmation: Confirmation is taught by Pastor and dedicated parent volunteers each Sunday during the Sunday School Hour at 9:30 a.m. To join confirmation, please talk with the pastor, as the class is done on a rotation. Each summer, we take a group of confirmation youth to Lutherock for Confirmation Camp. We join other area churches and our youth get to know youth from other Lutheran congregations.
Sunday School: We have Sunday school classes for every age each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. You can let us know you are coming, or you can come on Sunday morning, and we will help you find a suitable class. The classes are designed to help grow faith in fun and engaging ways.
New Horizons (Age 55+)
New Horizons is a ministry of persons aged 55 years and older. They meet monthly on the third Saturday to worship, hear educational speakers, take trips for new adventures, and fellowship with one another. Membership is not limited to members of Saint Luke’s.
Quilters
Our Quilters (they wouldn’t all consider themselves actual quilters) meet most Tuesdays to make quilts for Lutheran World Relief. After they make a large batch of quilts, they hang them in the sanctuary and we bless them for service in God’s world.
Women’s Groups (Women of the ELCA)
Thomas Suber Circle: Meets on Monday after the second Sunday at 7:00 p.m.
Essie Hawkins Circle: Meets on Tuesday after the first Sunday at 10 a.m.
Barbara Richardson Circle: Meets on the third Sunday at 6 p.m., bringing beverages and snacks to share, and enjoying devotions and supporting each other. “Not your typical women’s group.”

The Lutheran Men in Mission is an auxiliary of the church for men to gather, pray, study Scripture, and serve the community and beyond through various ministries. These include Toys for Tots, deliveries to the Manna House food pantry, Adopt-a-Highway litter collection, the Tanzania Safe Water Project, and more.

Group 2: Meets on the first Sunday of each month at 8 a.m.
